Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? - Paul Gauguin
(at the Met, wow, for a limited time)

Amazing Thanksgiving weekend: delicious dinner with a fellow UCLA Bruin's family in nippy New Jersey, enlightening convos about microfinance, Grey's Anatomy (a surprisingly decent source of indie music, no matter how dilutive), coming hope empty from the Apple Store for Black Friday, Maui Invitational B-ball (no. 1, baby), Bond, James Bond (Eva Green is very nice), rediscovering my love of condensed, trenchant museum exhibits by checking out the Met and its wonderful "Cezanne to Picasso" exhibit, Saigon Grill for some Vietnamese food, observing uber-fun impromptu skate/dance gatherings in Central Park, and decompressing with sushi and Entourage (season one done!).
Okay, another band I've been digging this year...Hot Chip.
Check them out and cop their remixes as well.
Hot Chip - Over and Over
Hot Chip - And I Was A Boy From School
Hot Chip - And I Was A Boy From School (acoustic) - Recommended
Hot Chip - Colours (DFA remix)
Architecture in Helsinki - Do The Whirlwind (Hot Chip remix)
Diplo - Shake It Over and Over (Hot Chip vs. Pitbull)
Don't forget: Guggenheim First Fridays is taking place again this Friday. Get there early and avoid the monstrous lines.

Adopted line for the rest of the year:
"Let's hug it out, bitch" - Entourage
