republican good ideas...

I'm an independent, but if Republicans actually espoused Ms. Snowe's ideas, I think more independents would favor the Republican party. However, the current Republican party has done an about face, and care more about dominating the 24/7 political spin cycle than having an honest, rational debate about how to make America better.
